Before, I introduce ACWED I feel that it's appropriate that I
introduce the Science of Optics and Photonics because ACWED is only one
application of a myriad of applications of this Science. I introduce
the branch of Science with a video of a Scientist speaking.
This Scientist is Dr Robert Lieberman :
a Past President of the
SPIE (the society for light based technologies).
This video was published on YouTube on 6th October 2015. At this time
this Scientist was "President-Elect" of the SPIE.
The duration of the video is 10 minutes During a brief section of
this video, this Scientist introduces Optics and Photonics and talks
about the impact of light based technologies on the world today
