The 'REAL' 7 Wonders of the World
".....The real 7 wonders of today's world are not at all old stones and ruins from disappeared civilizations ....... people need to wake up....we are in the 21st century !............. ....declared RAEL" ".....It is understandable that the ancient Greek observers who did the first wonders list in the first few centuries BC named buildings like The Great Pyramids of Gaza as one of them. But twenty centuries later, the collective human Genius has produced much more than these buildings but the public is more trained to admire the beauties of the past than wonders of today......."..... .............".... The real wonders of the world should be selected for example... amongst things like the space station, the Petronas tower, the residential artificial islands of Dubai ,....... the Nile river over three Gorges Dam providing electricity to millions of people , particle accelerators etc….... - RAEL in 2007 after reading the results of a vote in which more than 100 million people chose the Great Wall of China , Rome's Colosseum and India's Taj Mahal amongst the 7 new Wonders of the world

The 1st Wonder of the Modern world; The Internet
........The origins of The Internet date back to the development of packet switching and research commissioned by the United States Department of Defense in the 1960s to enable time-sharing of computers. The primary precursor network, the ARPANET, initially served as a backbone for interconnection of regional academic and military networks in the 1970s. The funding of the National Science Foundation Network as a new backbone in the 1980s, as well as private funding for other commercial extensions, led to worldwide participation in the development of new networking technologies, and the merger of many networks. The linking of commercial networks and enterprises by the early 1990s marked the beginning of the transition to the modern Internet,[4] and generated a sustained exponential growth as generations of institutional, personal, and mobile computers were connected to the network. Although the Internet was widely used by academia in the 1980s, commercialization incorporated its services and technologies into virtually every aspect of modern life......... The 2nd Wonder of the Modern world; The Space Station
........As of 2022, there are two fully operational space stations in low Earth orbit (LEO) – the International Space Station (ISS) and China's Tiangong Space Station (TSS). The ISS has been permanently inhabited since October 2000 with the Expedition 1 crews and the TSS began continuous inhabitation with the Shenzhou 14 crews in June 2022. The ISS is used to study the effects of spaceflight on the human body, as well as to provide a location to conduct a greater number and longer length of scientific studies than is possible on other space vehicles. China's Tiangong Space Station is scheduled to finish its phase 1 construction by the end of 2022 with the addition of two lab modules. In July 2022, Russia announced intentions to withdraw from the ISS after 2024 in order to build its own space station.[1] There have been numerous decommissioned space stations, including USSR's Salyuts, Russia's Mir, NASA's Skylab, and China's Tiangong 1 and Tiangong 2....... The 3rd wonder of the Modern world The LINE
THE LINE is a civilizational revolution that puts humans first, providing an unprecedented urban living experience. No roads, cars or emissions, it will run on 100% renewable energy and 95% of land will be preserved for nature. Only 200 meters wide, but 170 kilometers long and 500 meters above sea level.   THE LINE will eventually accommodate 9 million people and will be built on a footprint of just 34 square kilometers. Residents will also have access to all facilities within a five-minute walk, in addition to high-speed rail   –-   with an end-to-end transit of 20 minutes.
The 4th wonder of the Modern world;
---Palm Island - The Artificial Islands of Dubai---
The smallest island of the three palm islands, Palm Jumeirah consists of a 2 kilometers trunk and 17 palm leaves where luxury villas and private beaches have been constructed. It is all protected by an 11 kilometers semi-circular breakwater, which prevents erosion of the sand by the powerful currents and the strong Shamal wind in the Persian Gulf.
Construction began on the Palm Jumeirah Island in June 2001. It involved two phases: construction of the land foundations and building of infrastructure and services to make the island habitable. Created using 94 million cubic meters of sand and 7 million tons of rock, with each rock placed individually by a crane, signed off by a diver and given a GPS coordinate. Dredgers collected sand from the sea and dumped it where the breakwater was to be constructed. All this had to be one when the sea was calmest. To ensure the stand stayed in place, rubble was dropped on to it, raising the breakwater to a height of 4 meters above sea level. Two layers of large rocks weighing up to six tons each cap the structure, creating a formidable sea defense. Builders had to excavate these massive rocks from 16 quarries across U.A.E. The natural rock was used to encourage the creation of a natural reef and provide habitats for sea life. To eliminate the chances of water stagnation, the breakwater also has two 328-foot openings on each side. Using 8000 ton dredgers, sand was collected from the sea floor and dumped on the required area using a process known as “rainbowing”. To ensure the island was constructed at the right location and took on its precise shape, construction was guided by GPS (Global Positioning System). A private satellite would give out coordinates and the dredgers would fill the area of the sea as directed by the satellite. Furthermore, to protect the island from sinking in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake, the sand was compacted using a technology called vibro compaction which increased the density of the loose sand by saturating it with jets of water and vibrating it with probes. After 6 months, the manmade island was safe enough for accommodation.

The 5th wonder of the Modern world;
---Millau Viaduct - One of the Worlds Tallest Bridges---
The Millau Viaduct is the tallest bridge in the world . Completed in 2004 , it has a structural height of 1104 ft and is over 8070 ft (nearly 2 miles long) . It carries 4 lanes of the A75 autoroute from Paris to Béziers and Montpelier and crosses over the gorge of the Tarn in Aveyron , France . The bridge has been consistently ranked as one of the greatest engineering achievements of modern times
The 6th wonder of the Modern world;
--- The Sphere - Entertainment Center in Las Vegas Nevada---
The Sphere in Las Vegas at 112 meters tall and 157 meters wide at it's broadest point is the Worlds largest spherical structure.   The exterior, which comprises 56,000 square meters of LED's displays is the Worlds most video capable screen of any type to be constructed to date......and which makes it a true engineering marvel and one of the REAL 7 Wonders of the world   The Sphere was designed by Populous, the project was announced by the Madison Square Garden Company in 2018.   The structure was completed in 2023.   Costing $US2.3 Billion, the venue was opened on September 29, 2023, with U2 as its first performer (source : wikipedia )
