For those mortals out there in cyberspace whom are interested to study "Photonics", then the originator of this website recommends the following textbook published in 2006, written by Richard S. Quimby; a British lecturer in Physics.   This would be one of the best textbooks written on this subject;   The concepts are excellently explained and the diagrams are excellent.   Also, the author provides in-depth analysis of how to design various photonic devices.   Each chapter contains several problems with worked solutions that demonstrate the concepts.   The author assumes a knowledge of magnetism and Modern Physics and differential and integral calculus.   File size ; 9 Mbytes :   533 pages
