The downloading of human memory into a newly cloned human body forms part of a storyline in a science fiction movie released in the year 2000. In the movie titled The 6th day ( November 2000 with Arnold Shwarzenenegger) human cloning is prohibited by so called '6th day laws' ...... but there is a company is doing it illegally.
